This node in the navigation tree represents the configuration (SQL) database that is being accessed via the Configuration Server. This relates to a single mSuite community - a set of mSuite servers using common configuration.
There are 6 actions available from this node.
Right mouse click on the node with the database instance name in the navigation tree then select All Tasks > Manage mSuite licenses from the pop-up menu The License Key dialog will be displayed. This displays a summary of the existing license key. You can use the Replace Key... button to enter a new key if required. |

Right mouse click on the node with the database instance name in the navigation tree then select All Tasks > View System Information from the pop-up menu. A dialog will be displayed that shows:
The Copy To Clipboard button copies all of the above information (including the Provisioning address) to the clipboard. It can then be pasted into an email or an SMS message to be sent to users who need to provision their devices using the provisioning portal. See Provisioning Devices. |
mSuite supports Lotus Traveler as an alternative messaging client to mNotes. Right mouse click on the node with the database instance name in the navigation tree then Select All Tasks > Lotus Traveler Configuration from the pop-up menu. This will execute the configuration wizard for Lotus Traveler. |
A single mSuite snap-in can manage multiple mSuite installations. Installations can be added at the administration console node see: Administration Console To remove a database, right mouse click on the node with the name of the database that you want to remove then select All Tasks > Remove Database from the pop-up menu. |
This runs a wizard which constructs the text of a message to send to a user's device (by SMS) to simplify the process of provisioning the device. It applies only to 'over the air' provisioning of Windows Mobile and/or Symbian devices with full mSuite clients. NOTE: the mSuite Administration console is not capable of sending SMS messages. It simply shows you the text that the SMS message should contain. You will need to some other tool to actually send the message. |
